Imam Husayn is identified as the son of Imam Ali and Fatima, daughter of the Prophet.

The passage names Ali al-Sajjad, Zayn al-Abidin, as the son of Husayn, son of Ali.

Zayd al-Shahid is identified as a son of Ali Zayn al-Abidin; p. 194 also identifies him as Muhammad al-Baqir’s brother.

Muhammad ibn Zayd al-Shahid is attested. The title “al-Da‘i al-Kabir” for this person has not been established in the passages reviewed.

Ja‘far the poet is a direct son of Muhammad ibn Zayd al-Shahid and father of Muhammad al-Khatib. His position has been corrected here: al-Fakhri and al-Shajara identify al-Mu’ayyad as his brother, not his father.
