Where my writing journey began.
Hussam Saraf’s first book is a field study of the environmental and health conditions of Al-Hamza, Iraq, undertaken in 2009 as a preventive-health researcher. Authored by Hussam Saraf, the manuscript was handwritten by calligrapher Haider Hashim.
With limited resources, 100 copies were photocopied and professionally bound in Al-Diwaniyah, then distributed free to the government institutions concerned with the study, accompanied by official correspondence.
