About the book

Beginning with a shared concern for Ahl al-Bayt, this volume examines imamate, texts and religious authority. It explores questions between Zaydi and Twelver approaches, considering evidence, agreement and disagreement without reducing either tradition to a single generalisation.

Part of the ongoing Ala Basirah series: dialogues on faith, Islam and the school of Ahl al-Bayt. Each dialogue examines questions, sources, arguments and objections with clarity and respect, and remains open to review and development.
